The Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod commended the Philippine Red Cross Negros-Bacolod Chapter for their service during the MassKara Festival this month.
The resolution authored by Councilor Em Ang, which commends PRC for its “exemplary service during the 44th MassKara Festival celebration” was approved during the SP regular session on Wednesday, October 25.
The resolution, cited the Red Cross for providing “quick response teams at various festival sites to attend to individuals who required medical assistance, thereby demonstrating their commitment to the welfare of our citizens and visitors”.
The quick response teams acted with unwavering dedication, professionalism, and compassion, attending to the needs of participants, audience members, and MassKara dancers who were not feeling well during the events, it added.*
