A senior citizen who stabbed his son dead in their home at Barangay Buluangan, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on New Year’s day is now facing parricide charges.
Bienvenido Paz, 67, a fisherman, figured in a heated argument with his son, Bienvenido Jr., 39, that led to a fatal ending as the suspect stabbed the victim with a double-bladed weapon.
The son was rushed to a hospital but he already expired.
The suspect is now detained at the San Carlos police station facing parricide charges.*
