Rep. Francisco “Kiko” Benitez today, January 26, thanked Senator Ronald “Bato” de la Rosa for his assistance to families in the third district of Negros Occidental directly affected by the flash floods on January 1 and 8.
The senator sent 40 sacks of rice through the National Food Authority and the office of Benitez, a press release said.
The rice was distributed to identified affected families with the assistance of the Social Welfare and Development offices in the cities of Victorias, Silay and Talisay, and the municipality of E.B. Magalona, it said.*
