A scrap buyer was shot to death by an unidentified man while driving his motorcycle in Sitio Cabal-asan, Brgy. Caliling, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, on Thursday, January 18.
The 44-year-old scrap buyer, whose name was withheld by the police, was found dead in a secluded area at about 3:45 p.m. Thursday.
Residents heard several gunshots and when they checked they saw the victim’s body lying on the ground. He sustained several gunshot wounds.
The suspect escaped and an investigation is underway.*
