Sagay City is enforcing a daily ban on single-use plastics starting January 1.
City Ordinance No. 2023-015 mandates the ban as part of Sagay’s commitment to “a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future”, the city government announced Thursday, Dec. 18.
“Let’s reduce waste, protect our seas and land, and choose reusable alternatives,” it said.
