A government employee was arrested for frustrated homicide after he allegedly stabbed two persons at Quezon Street, Brgy. Poblacion 1 in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.
Arrested was a 31-year-old job order employee of the Sagay City government, whose name was withheld by the police.
The victims were talking beside the road when the suspect suddenly arrived and kicked their parked motorcycles, the police reported.
He then stabbed a 35-year-old man in the stomach and left arm, and a 28-year-old man on his waist, the police said.
They were brought to Alfredo E. Marañon Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Sagay City due to minor injuries and are now in stable condition.
The suspect, who sustained a minor injury, was arrested by the police and brought to the Lopez Farmers District Hospital.
He is now under police custody and will be charged for frustrated homicide, the police report said.*
