The Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental National ID Registration in the province officially resumed Monday, Jan. 20, following a brief hiatus.
This was done to debrief and recalibrate the registration procedures in order to provide better services to Negrosanons, PSA Chief Statistical Specialist John F. Campomanes said.
Campomanes is urging the public to register for National IDs as they will provide valid proof of identity and will simplify public and private transactions.
Those who intend to enroll in the PhilSys Registry may do so using one valid identification, which includes any primary or secondary government-issued ID, Certificate of Live Birth, school or company ID, or a barangay certificate.
They may register at the PSA National ID Fixed Registration Center at G/F East 2 Corporate Center, corner Diola-Circumferential Road, Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City.
They may also register at Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Robinsons Place Bacolod, SM City Bacolod, Gaisano Grand Central, Gaisano Grand Silay, CityMall – Victorias, and CityMall – Cadiz, Campomanes said.
To broaden the agency’s reach in delivering its National ID services to more Negrenses in the province, National ID Registration Teams will conduct mobile registration campaigns in towns and cities of Negros Occidental, while following a regular schedule at the Local Civil Registrar’s Offices and local registration centers, Campomanes said.
Campomanes said for more updates from the Provincial Statistics Office of Negros Occidental, the public may follow its official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/psa0645negocc.*
