Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson announced on Wednesday, July 30, that the Negros Occidental provincial government employees will start receiving the second round of their second tranche salary increases in August.
The salary increases, which were approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, will take effect August 2, he said.
The provincial government has allocated P33 million for the salary increases to cover the remaining five months of 2025, the governor said.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said 3,301 provincial government employees will be covered by the salary increases.*
