A high-value individual was arrested after police seized more than half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Purok Arao, Brgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City early Monday, Feb. 2
The suspect, identified only as “Nok,” 20, a resident of Barangay Vista Alegre, was arrested by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit.
Police said about 85 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P578,000 were confiscated from the suspect.
The suspect is currently under police custody and will face charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
