The Top 8 most wanted person in Negros Occidental was arrested in Brgy. Zone 12-A, Talisay City, on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Nicko Hucalinas, 25, of Purok Rosal 2, Brgy. Zone 10, Talisay City, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for alleged statutory rape at about 4:22 p.m. on Wednesday.
The warrant of arrest was issued by the presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 41 in Bacolod City on Dec. 21.
Police Regional Office-6 tagged the suspect as the eighth most wanted person by the Talisay City Police Station.
There was no bail recommended for the temporary release of the suspect who is now detained at the Talisay Police Station.
BGen. Sidney Villaflor, Police Regional Office 6 director, said that he commends the success of the operation and asked for the continued cooperation of the community to arrest more wanted persons.*
