The police arrested five people and seized P660,000 in drugs in Bacolod City and Victorias City on Monday, May 26.
Three people were arrested and illegal drugs worth P524,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation at Manville Royale Subdivision in Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City, Monday evening.
Arrested were alias “Rolyn” of Brgy. 3, La Carlota City, and alias “Ryan” and alias “French” of Bacolod City, the police said.
Confiscated from the suspects were 10 grams of suspected shabu valued at P68,000 and marijuana leaves worth P456,000, for a total of P524,000.
The suspects are now in police custody and will be charged in violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The police also arrested two fishermen and seized suspected shabu worth P136,000 in a buy bust operation in Sitio Pasil, Brgy. Zone 3A, Brgy 6A, Victorias City in Negros Occidental, Monday.
Arrested were alias “Bodo”, 38, and alias “Brono”, 32, who are residents of Sitio Pasil.
Recovered from the suspects were 10 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 20 grams, the police said.
They are now detained at the Victorias City Police Station.*
