Police have persons of interest in killing of housekeeping worker

The police have identified persons of interest in the killing of a mall housekeeping employee at North Capitol Road in Brgy. 6, Bacolod City, on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Maj. Eugene Tolentino, Bacolod City Police Station 2 chief, said they are already looking at a motive and persons of interests involved in the shooting to death of Raymond Dela Torre, 28, of Brgy. Ma-ao, Bago City, Negros Occidental.

Tolentino said that CCTV footage shows that the suspect who was riding on a motorcycle parked, went to the victim and shot him.

The police are looking into the possibility that the incident was connected to the victim’s job prior to his working at the mall.

Tolentino clarified that the incident was not related to the illegal drug trade.*
