The police arrested two persons and seized suspected shabu worth P863,600 in separate buy-bust operations in the cities of Bacolod and Himamaylan, Negros Occidental, Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 13 and 14.
Wilfredo Lumanog, 49, a high-value drug target, was arrested in an operation in Purok Kagaykay, Brgy. 2, Bacolod City, on Monday.
The police seized from the suspect 112 grams of suspected shabu valued at P761,600.
Meanwhile, alias “Jeje”, 45, was arrested in Purok Bonifacio, Brgy. 3-Poblacion, Himamaylan City, Tuesday.
The police seized suspected shabu weighing 15 grams with an estimated street drug price of P102,000 from him.
The suspects are detained and will be face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
