The police arrested two persons in buy-bust operations in the 3rd District of Negros Occidental and seized suspected shabu worth P714,000.
Alias “Ramy Sr.”, 57, was arrested, while “Ramy Jr.”, and “Jeremie” escaped a police buy-bust operation in Hacienda Banilad 1, Brgy. Nanca, E.B. Magalona.
The police recovered 80 grams of shabu with an estimated street drug price of P544,000, and a .38 caliber revolver with ammunition.
Ramy Sr. is now under police custody while pursuit operations for his two companions are underway.
Meanwhile, alias “Inday”, 34, was also arrested in a buy-bust operation at Block 3, Fermont Village, Brgy. 7, Victorias City.
The police recovered from her suspected shabu weighing 25 grams with an estimated street drug price of P170,000.
She is now detained and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the police said.*
