Three drug suspects were arrested while more than P200,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations in Victorias City and Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
In Victorias City, two suspects identified as alias “Mak-Mak,” 25, and alias “Jo-Jo,” 39, were arrested during an operation in Brgy. 6 on Monday, April 13.
Police said around 15 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱102,000 were confiscated from the suspects.
In a separate operation in Talisay City early Monday, April 14, a 35-year-old suspect identified as alias “Chucky” was also arrested in Barangay Zone 6.
Authorities recovered around 20 grams of suspected shabu valued at P136,000.
The suspects were informed of their rights and are now under police custody.
The seized items were submitted to the forensic unit for laboratory examination.
Authorities said the operations are part of intensified efforts to curb illegal drug activities in Negros Occidental.*
