
The Police Regional Office Negros Island Region (PRO NIR) inaugurated and blessed the newly completed Pulupandan Municipal Police Station in Pulupandan, Negros Occidental, on Monday, Dec. 15.
The new police station will enhance operational readiness, improve personnel welfare, and allow faster and more responsive police services in the area, a press release from the PRO-NIR said.
The ceremony was led by PRO-NIR regional director BGen. Arnold Thomas C. Ibay along with Pulupandan Mayor Miguel Antonio Peña, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Director Col. Dennis Wenceslao, Deputy Director Col. Sandy Vales, and Pulupandan police chief Maj Edfel Balibadlan.
Ibay said the new facility reflects the Philippine National Police’s commitment to public service and to maintaining peace and order in the community.
He thanked Peña for the local government’s support, citing the strong partnership between the LGU and the police force.*
