The Pinta Flores Festival 2026 will bring a series of cultural presentations, entertainment shows, competitions, fitness activities, and community events to San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, from Tuesday, Oct. 20 to Nov. 5.
Organized by the City Government of San Carlos in partnership with the Pinta Flores Foundation, the festival will feature activities leading up to its major celebrations on November 4 and 5, a press release from the city government said Tuesday.
The festival calendar opened Tuesday, October 20, with the Pinta Flores Media Night, followed by a free dog and cat spay and neuter activity on October 21 and 22 at the City Auditorium.
On October 23, the city will host the Tour de Cebu “World’s Only Tropical Classic Motoring Rally” display at Barrio Fiesta, followed by the Pinta Flores Festival opening salvo at the trade fair area.
Other activities include the Mr. and Ms. Teen San Carlos and Dance Contest on October 24, a comedy show featuring Crazy Duo on October 25, and a series of corporate nights featuring local media partners and performers from October 26 to 29.
The lineup continues with the 3rd Pinta Flores Dancesport Competition and a Pinta Flores Laugh Night featuring Negra Blackmamba on October 31.
On November 1, the festival will hold a variety show with the San Carlos City LGBT community. November 2 will feature ABC Night, a local talents night featuring Musaka, and a body painting competition. Activities on November 3 include the Pinta Flores Arch Contest, Zumba Party, Festival Queen Competition, and busking nights.
The highlight of the festivities on November 4 will include a concelebrated Mass in honor of San Carlos Borromeo at the San Carlos Borromeo Cathedral Parish, followed by GMA Kapuso Fiesta Night and Pinta Flores Busking Nights.
On November 5, the city will stage the Tunog Fiesta Kalye Beats, Pinta Flores Streetdancing Competition, and Pinta Flores Festival Ritual Competition.
The evening celebration, dubbed Hudyaka sa Pintaflores, will feature live performances, a celebrity band, a grand fireworks display, celebrity guest Iyaz, and a party with bands and DJs at the front of City Hall.
The annual festival celebrates the culture, creativity, and community spirit of San Carlos City, with residents and visitors invited to join the various activities and witness the highlights of Pinta Flores 2026, the press release said.*
