PFF: Victorias no longer a host for FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) announced that Victorias City, Negros Occidental, will no longer be a host city for the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup 2025.

PFF, in a statement on Friday, Sept. 12, explained the decision was made “after a comprehensive review of logistical and operational considerations, and in light of the ongoing situations.”

The adjustment reflects the joint objective of FIFA and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) to streamline and reduce the tournament’s footprint, ensuring the most efficient delivery of the event, the PFF said.

All matches for the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup will now be held solely in Pasig City.

“We are eager to showcase the passion of the Filipino people for the sport and invite everyone to celebrate women’s futsal on the global stage in Pasig City,” the PFF said.*
