A 14-year-old boy who was carried away by strong current at Campomanes Bay in Brgy. Maricalum, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, on Sunday was still missing on Monday, Sept. 16.
Philippine Coast Guard- Southern Negros Occidental Station acting commander, ENS. James Carbajosa, told DIGICAST NEGROS that they have not found Gilbert Vicencio, 14, who drowned while swimming in the area with three other children.
Carbajosa said that they will resume their search and rescue operations on Tuesday.
The boy’s companions Henry Vicenco, 13, Raynold Medes, 18, Raven Medes, 15, were rescued alive on Sunday.*
