Panaad sa Negros fest launching March 14

The launching of the Panaad sa Negros Festival will be held on March 14, Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Tuesday, March 7.

He said the launching will be held at the Capitol Lagoon Park or the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, depending on the weather.

The actual Panaad sa Negros Festival will be held at the Panaad Park in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod, April 17 to 23.

Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson is set to approve the logo for the festival, which is a fusion of four art works, Diaz said.

The winners of the logo contest will be announced during the March 14 launching, he said.

The festival music is also almost ready and just needs a little tweak, he added.

The theme of the festival, which is returning after a three-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, is also set, Diaz said.*
