P87M Ma-ao market inaugurated

The newly constructed P87 million Ma-ao Public Market in Bago City, Negros Occidental, was inaugurated, Tuesday, February 15.

The inauguration was led by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer, and Bago City Mayor Nicholas Yulo.

The project will open doors to more economic development and activities in the locality and its neighboring towns and cities, a press release from the Capitol said.

The public market has an administration office, 30 outer stalls, 36 inner stalls, 25 stalls in the fish section, 25 stalls in the meat section, and male and female comfort rooms.*
