At least P8.5 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in a buy-bust operation at Dolce Nombre De Maria Subdivision, Brgy Talungon, Bais City, Negros Oriental, Monday night, January 10.
Nabbed was 50-year-old Alex Torres, who yielded 1.25 kilo of suspected shabu worth P8.5 million.
He also yielded the P1,000 buy-bust money, and several bogus money, as well as one .9 mm revolver with five ammunition.
Charges of illegal possession of drugs and firearms in relation to the Commission on Elections gun ban were filed against the suspect, who is now detained at the Bais police station.*
