Col. Noel Aliño reported a P71 million shabu haul from 272 buy-bust operations conducted in his first seven months as the head of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
The BCPO reported that they seized 10.49 kilograms of suspected shabu worth P71,348,048 in an operational accomplishment report from April 18 to Nov. 18, released Tuesday.
The confiscation came from 272 anti-illegal drugs operations that also led to the arrest of 326 individuals, it said.
Aliño also reported that they also arrested 110 most wanted and 222 other wanted individuals in seven months.
BCPO’s 134 illegal gambling operations also led to the arrest of 445 individuals and confiscation of P35,073 worth of bet money.
In their campaign against loose firearms the BCPO also recorded 24 unrenewed licensed firearms deposited, 68 surrendered, and 30 confiscated.
They have also arrested 29 individuals for carrying loose firearms, the BCPO reported.*
