
About P4.5 million worth of suspected shabu were seized by the police in four separate buy-bust operations in three cities in Negros Occidental from May 30 to June 1.
A regional top-priority level suspect was arrested at Burgos Street, Brgy. 10 in Bacolod City where operatives confiscated P2.72M worth of suspected shabu on Wednesday night, the police reported.
Jojo Segovia, alias “Boy Tattoo”, 21, of Brgy. 2, a high value individual, and Lijun Tayona, 35, of Brgy. Pahanocoy, were arrested with 42 sachets of suspected shabu valued at P2,720,000, the police said.
The two are under the custody of Bacolod Police Station 2.
The Bacolod police also arrested another high-value individual and confiscated suspected shabu worth P1,781,600, in Purok Langis, Brgy. Banago, Bacolod City, early Thursday morning.
Malcomb Marshall alias “Noy”, 24, was arrested through a buy-bust operation at his residence, the police reported.
They confiscated confiscated 19 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 262 grams, the police added.
A suspect identified as Reggie Sumagaysay, 38, was also arrested after a buy-bust operation where the police confiscated P10,200 worth of alleged shabu and drug paraphernalia in Brgy. Aguisan, Himamaylan City, on Wednesday.
The suspects were arrested for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.*
