The Bacolod City government is distributing P30 million worth of school supplies starting Monday, Councilor Al Victor Espino said on Sunday, August 4.
The school supplies will be distributed to 66,198 kindergarten to grade six pupils in 44 public schools in Bacolod City, he said.
Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, Espino and other city councilors will start the distribution of the school supplies at the Rizal Elementary School and at the Education Training Schools 1, 2, 3 and 4 on Monday morning, the mayor’s spokesman Caesar Distrito said.
To be distributed are notebooks, pad papers, pencils, pencil sharpeners and plastic envelops with handles.*
