Mindanao Star Bus Transport Inc. (MSBTI) held its annual stockholders’ meeting today, January 16.
During the meeting, Leo Rey V. Yanson (LRY), Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Charles M. Dumancas, Rey C. Ardo and Arvin John V. Villaruel were re-elected as members of MSBTI’s Board of Directors, a press release from MSBTI said.
Following the election of the directors, the Board held an organizational meeting wherein LRY was re-appointed as chairman of the board and President of MSBTI, while Olivia V. Yanson (OVY) was re-appointed as MSBTI’s corporate secretary and treasurer.
Despite proper and timely notice, stockholders Roy, Ricardo and Emily Yanson were absent, the press release said.
Roy, Celina and Ricky were believed to be unable to attend the meeting because they are currently abroad, it added.
The three and their sister Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez are facing several outstanding warrants of arrest, the press release said.
LRY said despite the challenges faced in 2020, MSBTI remains strong and resilient. It continues to be steadfast in its goal to serve the Filipino people.
