Overheated electric fan triggers P900,000 fire

A  fire that hit a house at Bangga Cory in Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City, 3:06 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, caused P900,000 in damage. 

The fire was caused by an overheated  electric fan, Supt. Jenny Mae Masip, Bacolod Fire  Marshal, said. 

The damaged two-storey house is owned by Diana Arricibita who does not reside there, the Bacolod Fire Station  reported. 

Two families who were renting rooms in the house were affected. 

 The fire  was declared out at about  3:15 p.m., the BFP added.*
