Former Bacolod Rep. John Orola said he is filling his certificate of candidacy (COC) for governor of Negros Occidental before the Commission on Elections at the Social Hall of the Capitol in Bacolod City on Friday morning, October 8.
He will be the third candidate for governor with Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson and Maria Socorro Sibulan Okada of La Carlota City, who claims to be a “visionary” and “psychic,” having filed their COCs for the top post of the province earlier.
Meanwhile, Fifth District Board Member Rita Gatuslao of the United Negros Alliance filed her COC for reelection Thursday, October 7.
Also running for board member of the Fifth District is Patrick Montilla (Independent), the brother of the late Isabela Mayor Enrique Montilla.
Kutsinta businessman Junee Penequito Occida also filed his COC for board member of the Third District of Negros Occidental.*
