Organic festival sales at Capitol hit P920K

The four-day Negros Island Organic Farmers’ Festival sales hit P920,520.75, Provincial Agriculturist Edmundo Raul Causing said Sunday, November 27.

The festival was held at the provincial Capitol grounds in Bacolod City from November 23 – 26.

Sales on November 23 was P216,755.75, November 24 – P257,425. November 25 – P223,154 and November 26 – P223,186.

Among the items that were on sale at the festival were fresh fruits and vegetables, processed food, plants, farm inputs and machinery, arts and crafts, traditional medicine, and numerous other organic products.*
