The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) have been named the best police offices in the country.
The BCPO that had a score of 97.04 percent and NOCPPO – 92.33 percent will receive the Best City Police Office and Best Police Provincial Office awards during the 122nd Police Service Anniversary at Camp Crame on August 8.
Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez congratulated the BCPO headed by PCol. Noel Aliño for being named the Best City Police Office in the entire country.
“With an impressive overall rating of 97.04, BCPO’s outstanding performance has rightfully placed them at the top position among other worthy contenders from across the Philippines,” he said.
“This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the exemplary leadership, professionalism and unwavering dedication exhibited by every member of the team,” he added.
“This does not only exemplify excellence in law enforcement but also instills a profound sense of trust and confidence among the people of Bacolod,” Benitez said.
Aliño said that the award is the result of the teamwork of the BCPO and its stakeholders.
He thanked everyone for their support to the police, saying “the award is a symbol of how we want to create change in Bacolod”.
Officials from NOCCPO have yet to give their statements.
Meanwhile, other awardees include Police Region 11 as Best Police Regional Office, Sorsogon City Police Station as Best Component City Police Station, Isulan Municipal Police Station in Region 12 as Best Municipal Police Station;
Police Regional Office-4A RMFB is Best Regional Mobile Force Battalion, Camarines Sur PMFC is Best Provincial Mobile Force Company, General Santos CMFC is Best City Mobile Force Company, PNP-Intelligence Group is Best National Operational Support Unit, and PNP-Finance Service is Best National Administrative Support Unit.*
