The National Bureau of Investigation-Bacolod has not identified the suspects behind the killing of Pearl Joy Galve yet, almost a month after she was found dead in a sugarcane field in La Carlota City.
NBI-Bacolod Executive Officer William De Arca said that they do not have any information yet about the suspects, and their motive for killing the grade 12 student from Brgy. Sum-ag, Bacolod City.
De Arca said that while they are still collecting evidence, they suspect that the culprits are familiar with the place where the victim was found.
He also said that there might be two to three suspects involved in the crime and they are determining if they are part of a syndicate or not.
De Arca said the victim’s mother, Jennifer, will be the complainant in the case to be filed against the suspects.
They have received new information that needs to be verified and they hope more witnesses surface to help them solve the case, he added.*
