Thirty-nine Bacolod City barangays and four local government units in Negros Occidental were COVID- free as of January 31, reports released today, February 1, showed.
The Emergency Operations Center reported that 39 of the 61 barangays in Bacolod City were COVID-free for 14 days, from January 18 to 31.
COVID-free were barangays 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, Banago, Felisa and Montevista, the EOC reported.
It also reported that as of today, 432,068 residents and 8,036 establishments are registered under the Bacolod Contact Tracing (BaCTrac) system.
Bacolod City has 159 active COVID-19 cases, the Department of Health reported today.
In Negros Occidental, the Provincial Incident Management Team reported that there were no COVID-19 active cases in Himamaylan and Kabankalan cities, and Ilog and San Enrique towns as of Sunday, January 31.
It also reported that Negros Occidental had 119 COVID-19 active cases as of Sunday.*
