The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will not be implementing a four-day workweek because it has timelines to meet for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, Provincial Election Supervisor Ian Lee Ananoria said on Thursday, March 12.
Voter registration will continue until Saturdays, he said.
The BSKE Elections are set on November 2, he said.
However, they are still implementing energy saving measures such as following the notice regarding the use of airconditioning units and appliances.
The Comelec expects to exceed the previous number of registered voters in Negros Occidental when the registration period ends on May 18, he added.*
