Castillano noted that 7,354 of the total registrants were male and 8,002 were female.

The voter registration for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) started August 1 and will run until August 10.

It was followed by Sipalay City with 405, and Kabankalan City and Bago City with 400 each.
While voter registration is ongoing, the BSKE originally set for December 1 is expected to be postponed.
