Nine PRO-NIR police officers honored for exemplary service 

Nine personnel of the Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) were recognized for their outstanding dedication and performance during a ceremony at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City, on Monday, November 10. 

Three officers, Lt. Col. Jerry B. Corpuz, Lt. Col. John G. Ganzon, and Lt. Col. Joel A. Senogat Jr., received the Medalya ng Kasanayan for their invaluable services as part of the Red Teaming initiative of PRO-NIR during the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day operations. 

Six others, Police Officers Ruel D. Gubac, Paulo V. Matunding, Glenn V. Cordero,  Mark Phen G. Diwatin, Mark Jesmar E. Ruiz, and Joey S. Bana-ag, were awarded the Medalya ng Papuri for their exemplary performance, efficiency, and devotion to duty during the same period. 

The awards were conferred by PRO-NIR Acting Director, BGen. Dennis Esguerra, to police officers. 

Esguerra lauded the awardees for bringing pride and honor to the organization, saying their accomplishments reflect the PNP’s core values of service, honor, and justice. 

He added that PRO-NIR remains steadfast in recognizing outstanding personnel who embody the police force’s commitment to excellence and public service across the Negros Island Region.*
