The provincial government will begin the distribution of the P91 million National Housing Authority assistance to typhoon “Odette” victims in five local government units (LGUs) in Negros Occidental next week, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said on Monday, May 23.
The NHA is giving P5,000 to each family affected by the typhoon, who have been included in lists prepared by the LGUs.
Lacson said assistance will be distributed in Kabankalan City on Monday, May 30, in Cadiz City, Victorias City and Pontevedra on Tuesday, May 31, and in Ilog on June 3.
The distribution of the assistance was delayed by the election ban during the campaign period.*
