New FM station joins Bacolod airlanes

Favorite Music Radio (FMR) 91.1 MHz on the radio dial hits the airwaves of Bacolod City as it goes on air 24 hours this week.

FMR Bacolod is the 38th provincial station of the Philippine Collective Media Corp. (PCMC) that started in 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country, a press release said.

Named station manager is Carmela Arcolas-Gamboa, former ABS-CBN host and producer. A Marketing Management graduate of the University of St. La Salle-Bacolod Arcolas brings with her a wealth of experience in broadcast production, events management and corporate affairs management.

“FMR 91.1 Bacolod brings to the Metro Bacolod audience and music enthusiasts the freshest look, widest reach and a whole new experience in FM programming with innovative touches. We offer an added FMR app downloadable on Play Store, and evoke a tele-radyo feel as we go live on Facebook daily with exciting showsand segments featuring Bacolod’s best DJs and hosts,” Gamboa said.

FMR Philippines has nationwide coverage through its provincial stations all over the country. FMR Tacloban was the first FMR station installed, the press release said.
