The new Bacolod Fire Marshal outlined the Bureau of Fire Protection’s fire prevention plans and programs during a meeting with Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez at the Bacolod City Government Center on Wednesday, June 19.
Bacolod Fire Chief FSupt. Jenny Mae Masip said they plan to conduct fire safety lectures and exit drills at homes.
They are also posting emergency numbers and fire safety tips, and conducting road clearing operations.
These programs will be implemented from July to October this year, she said.*
