#NegrosNeedsHelp | Youth-led group mounts relief drive to help flood victims

The Bacolod Youth Alliance is leading a relief drive to help the flood victims in Negros Occidental.

On New Year’s Day, the cities of Silay, Victorias, and Talisay were ravaged by floods. While the waters have receded, Negrosanons still need immediate help, the group said.

How can you help?

[In Kind]
You can donate in-kind. Drop them off at the following address:

2) Donate books to Bugay
You can donate your pre-loved or new books to Chaela Ruth B. Mirano of Bugay. Your books will be used in a raffle, wherein all proceeds will go to the survivors of the flood.

3) Sign petitions
One of the possible major factors for the intense floods in the cities of Victorias, Talisay, and Silay is the deforestation of Negros. We can stop deforestation by starting at signing a petition against the road construction at Silay-Patag-Cadiz-Calatrava.
