Negros Occidental athletes have won 29 medals so far in the ongoing Batang Pinoy National Championships in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
They have won 7 gold, 15 silver and 7 bronze medals, he said.
“Overall the performance of the Negros team has leveled up compared to last year,” Diaz said.
Marianne Pedales of Sagay City won a gold medal in shot put on Wednesday, he said.
Khevin Cruz also won a gold in table tennis, he added.
