Negros Occidental and Bacolod City now have 1,946,639 registered voters for the 2022 polls, Provincial Election Supervisor Ian Lee Ananoria said Tuesday, December 7.
This is an increase of 57,439 voters from the 1,889,200 in the May 2019 national elections.
He said voters who failed to vote in two previous elections, died, or transferred were purged from the list.
In the new voters’ list, Bacolod City has 327,403 voters, or an increase by 14,587 from 312,816 in 2019.
