Three most wanted persons, including senior citizens and a teenager, were arrested for alleged rape in two cities and a town in Negros Occidental on Tuesday, February 13, the police reported.
Alias “Lo Ruben”, 73, Sagay City’s second most wanted person was arrested for three counts of alleged rape, the Police Regional Information Office-6 reported.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Executive Judge Reginald Fuentebella of the Regional Trial Court Branch 73 in Sagay City, and no bail was recommended.
A 64-year-old man tagged as the second most wanted person in Valladolid town was arrested for alleged child abuse through a warrant of arrest, on February 13, the police said.
Alias “Ricardo”, 64, was arrested for the alleged crime of qualified statutory rape in Brgy. Bagumbayan, Valladolid, the police said.
His warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Mary Jennifer Protacio-Arches of RTC Branch 75 in Bago City on October 20, 2023.
Bail was fixed at P180,000, records showed.
In Cadiz City, the police also arrested alias “John”, 19, for alleged statutory rape in Brgy. Zone 1 on February 12.
His warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Gwendolyn Ignalaga Jimenea of RTC branch 60, with no bail recommended.*
