The police arrested the No. 6 provincial and No. 1 municipal wanted person for illegal possession of firearms during the service of a warrant in Negros Oriental on Sunday, Jan. 19.
The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office said the suspect was arrested at around 12:05 p.m. in Brgy. Poblacion, Mabinay.
The arrest was carried out by personnel of the Jimalalud Municipal Police Station by virtue of a warrant of arrest for illegal possession of firearms, with a recommended bail of P100,000.
Police said the warrant was issued under Criminal Case No. J2025-419-CRC.
He is currently under the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Manjuyod for proper disposition.*
