The Negros Occidental athletes who won medals in the recent Palarong Pambansa in Cebu will receive cash incentives on Thursday, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said on Tuesday, July 23.
The provincial government is allotting about P800,000 for the purpose.
Lacson said those who won gold medals will receive P5,000 each, silver – P4,000 and bronze – P3,000 as thank you gifts.
The governor also congratulated the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts for their back-to-back win in the Palarong Pambansa secondary girl’s volleyball competition.
