Murcia opens refurbished Manokan Food Court

Murcia Mayor Gerry Rojas, with Vice-Maytor Johnny Reosura, SB Members Hernan Alintana, JR Gravino, Pidong Villarosa and Philip Belleza and other municipal officials, led the inauguration and turnover of the newly-refurbished Manokan Country Food Stalls.*

Mayor Gerry Rojas recently led inauguration and turn over of the newly-refurbished Manokan Food Court in Murcia town to the Manokan Country Tenants Association.

He urged the tenants to maintain the peace and order, as well as the cleanliness in the area, which now has comfort rooms for men, women and persons with disabilities, so that more guests and clients will patronize the food stalls, a press release from Mucia said Thursday, October 5..

During the program, the mayor inducted the new officers of the Manokan Country Tenants Association and officially turned over the food stalls to the tenants.

Association president Mirasol Martinez thanked Rojas and his administration for fulfilling his promise, and assured him that they will maintain the peace and order and cleanliness of the place, so that more people will experience and appreciate the delicious food and warm hospitality of Murciahanons.

Aside from Martinez, the other officers of the association are Jelly Arca – Vice-President, Vicente Bermisa, Jr. – Secretary, Lynn Malata – Treasurer, Ashley Coyoca – Business Manager, Ma. Luisa Tereja – Auditor and Evangeline Celez – Public Information Officer.

Providing entertainment during the program were the Live, Love, Dance (Zumba de Murcia) group led by former SB Member Belen Magbanua and live band music until the evening from Murcia’s homegrown talents True Dimension Band.

Earlier that afternoon, Mayor Rojas and municipal officials also inaugurated the newly-refurbished public comfort rooms with hotel standard facilities at the public plaza.
