A 27-year-old man died after his motorcycle crashed into a carabao crossing Aranea Street, in front of Toyota Motors in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City, early Monday, November 17.
Police identified the victim as Noli Barba, a resident of Purok Aning in Barangay Pahanocoy.
Barba was southbound on his Suzuki Raider J motorcycle at around 12:20 a.m. when he hit the carabao, the police said.
The police said the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
Responders from the fire ambulance team assisted Barba but found no pulse and no signs of life on their arrival.
Authorities said the carabao fled after the collision and has yet to be located.*
