A motorcycle rider died after crashing into a truck along the national highway in Brgy. Calumangan, Bago City, Negros Occidental, early Saturday, April 11.
The female rider from Brgy. Busay was declared dead at a hospital.
Investigation showed a trailer truck had temporarily stopped along the outer lane while traveling from Bacolod to Bago.
Authorities said the motorcycle, which was traveling in the same direction, hit the rear of the truck.
The truck driver was brought to the Bago police station along with the vehicles.*
