A motorcycle rider died after his vehicle crashed into a steel road railing in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, early Sunday morning, July 26.
The incident happened at around 1:10 a.m. along a barangay road in Brgy. Dos Hermanas, the Talisay police said.
Initial investigation showed that the rider was traveling toward the Talisay City proper when he lost control of the motorcycle and hit the railing.
The rider sustained injuries in different parts of his body and showed no signs of life when personnel of the Talisay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office responded.
He was brought to the Talisay City Health Office, where he was declared dead by an attending physician at around 2:30 a.m.
Police are investigating the circumstances that caused the rider to lose control of the motorcycle.*
