A motorcycle driver died after he was accidentally hit by another bike along the Circumferential Road in Brgy. Bagtic, Silay City, Negros Occidental, on Monday, Dec. 2.
Bartolome Villadar of Escalante City died after he was hit by a motorcycle driven by Joenel Ortinez of Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, the police said.
The two motorcycles were heading north when the victim turned left towards a depot and was accidentally hit by the suspect, the police added.
Due to the impact of the collision both drivers fell on the road and were injured.
Bartolome, who sustained head injuries, died at a hospital hours after the accident.
The police are still waiting for the victim’s family to file charges against the suspect or agree on a settlement.*
