A 23-year-old man died when his motorcycle collided with a mover truck along the Bacolod-Silay Access Road at Brgy. Efigenio Lizares, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Wednesday morning, August 7.
Edverth John Higohoy, 23, a resident of Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City, was found dead near a sugarcane field after he was thrown off his motorcycle because of the impact of the collision.
The police also said he sustained fatal injuries and his arm was amputated.
Higohoy, who was traveling from Silay City to Bacolod City, encroached the opposite lane and collided with the mover truck, the police said.
He was brought to the Talisay City Health Office where he was declared dead on arrival.
The truck driver is now detained at the Talisay Police Station.*
